CULTURAL AND COOKING DAY

The Faculty of Languages and Communication Student Society (FALCOM) has collaborated with 20 clubs from inside and outside of Malaysia in a program called Cultural and Cooking Day. The program have two slots of talk that called as Foodie Talk. This program was held virtually via Facebook Live and Youtube Live on 4 September 2021. It was an initiative to explore the various taste of Malaysian food as well as learning a variety of ways of making income out of food.

E-DEPENDENCE DAY CLOSING CEREMONY

The Faculty of Languages and Communication Student Society (FALCOM) has collaborated with MPP UniSZA, Student Language and Editorial Association (STELA), English Language Society (ELS), and many more in a program called E-Dependence Day. E-dependence day is a program to commemorate 64th anniversary of independence. This program was held virtually via Google Meet on 31 August 2021, to announce the winners and also to celebrate the success of their program.

SPEAKER’S EDGE AUGUST SESSION AND CLOSING CEREMONY

The Faculty of Languages and Communication Student Society (FALCOM) has jointly organized a program called Student's Edge with the Arabian Language Unit (UBA), Al-Qalam, English Language Society (ELS), and the Student Language Editorial Association (STELA). Formerly known as Student's Corner, this program has reached its final session in 2021, held virtually via Google Meet at 5pm on 27 August 2021, was an effort to train the students to be confident in public speaking.

PALESTIN: PASCA GENCATAN SENJATA

The Faculty of Languages and Communication Society (FALCOM) had organized a program called ‘Palestin: Pasca Gencatan Senjata’ or ‘Palestine: Post Ceasefire’ in collaboration with Persatuan Prihatin Warga Terpinggir Terengganu (WARGA CAKNA), Persatuan Mahasiswa Kerja Sosial UniSZA, UniSZA Wise Book Club, Kelab Citra Puisi UniSZA (KeRiSZ) and the Student Editorial and Language Association (STELA). Held via Facebook Live on FALCOM’s official Facebook page at 8.45 p.m, this program was an effort to spread awareness about the crisis that is currently happening in Palestine.

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BEN

The Faculty of Languages and Communication Student Society (FALCOM) had organized a talk session called ‘All You Need to Know About BEN’. The talk was held at 10 am on 12 August 2021 via Facebook Live on FALCOM’s official Facebook page. The talk was an effort to promote and introduce the new students and future students that will enroll in the BEN program.

BICARA ALUMNI FBK: TIPS MENGHADAPI PEPERIKSAAN

The talk was held via Facebook Live on FALCOM’s official Facebook page at 11.00 a.m. This talk session was an effort to share tips when sitting for the examination.

COFFEE-TALK WITH OUR SENIORS

Department of Modern Languages and Communication of the Faculty of Languages and Communication (FBK) has organized a casual talk titled "Coffee Talk with Our Seniors." This event, hosted by one of the FBK lecturers, Madam Nor Jijidiana Azmi, has invited ten seniors, also known as alumni, to share their experiences of being language and communication students as well as three lecturers from FBK.

ELU organised an online welcoming event for BEN new intake for 2020/2021 session. This event is aimed to familiarise the new students with necessary information regarding the course, introduce them with clubs that they could join and some insightful sharing session by a lecturer and a former BEN student.

FBK'S Student Participation in Modern Language Olympiad (MLO) 2019

Modern Language Olympiad: A competition that celebrates Arabic, Malay and English languages, as well as commemorating youth, language and culture through various interesting competitions. With that, 11 FBK's student set off to UiTM Shah Alam to take up the challenge and participate in MLO 2019.
