LAUNCHING OF THE STUDENT EDITORIAL LANGUAGE ASSOCIATION
Terengganu, 28 September: The Faculty of Languages and Communication (FBK) and Student Body (FALCOM) will commemorate the launching of the new editorial board Student Editorial Language Association (STELA) and will begin its debut by 29th of September 2019. The emergence of industrial demands and concerning employability rate has been a major highlight and concern of any aspiring graduates. To address this issue. The FBK students in University Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) establishes a new asssociation under direct supervision from the FBK student body FALCOM.
STELA will operate solely on a website designed for public usage. The new editorial association will encompass several features and functions to equip students with a platform to establish their corporate writing and content writing skills as well as showcase their talents in literature writing. Moreover, to address the industrial demands STELA will also provide several information on student, work and education related info such as resume building, proposal structure templates, formal document templates and discussion of FAQs that will be updated on a timely basis.
“The idea of creating something for the students by the students is what drives us to create this new association. We are confident that students need this information hub as well as a place for them to build themselves from the ground up, becoming capable university students as time goes on. That is the dream that every member of STELA shares.” STELA President Mohamad Ali Ahsan shared his thoughts yesterday. To ensure consistent content and timely information, STELA will focus on content creation for three issues in a span of a month. As of now, priority efforts are pooled towards the smooth launching of the association as well as structuring the organisation.
STELA association will start operations by 29th September, 33 total students from both Diploma and Degree joined the team to enhance their repertoire of skills and contribute towards a better future for FBK.
