Terengganu, 22nd March – The Faculty of Languages and Communication (FBK) has recently announced two new courses for the upcoming semester. The courses announced are Bachelor of Contemporary Malay Language with Interactive Media and Bachelor of Public Relations with Contemporary Media. FBK introduces these new courses to meet the needs of the market in Malaysia. Both of these courses will be offered to undergraduate students.

 

Bachelor of Public Relations with Contemporary Media focuses on developing the image and reputation for an organization and company. Meanwhile, Bachelor of Contemporary Malay Language with Interactive Media offers comprehensive and contemporary Malay language learning. The undergraduate students will learn how to apply digital media interactively.

 

Both courses will take 4 years to complete, including 3 years (6 semesters) of campus-based studies and 1 year (2 semesters) of industrial training. There are a lot of job opportunities for those who enrol in these courses. Bachelor of Contemporary Malay Language is a field that provides you a path to pursue your career as an editor, an animator, or a graphic artist. In contrast, a Bachelor of Public Relations with Contemporary Media might be the right path if you plan to be a public relations officer, a copywriter, or a journalist.

 

These two courses require the newcomers to get a CGPA of at least 2.00 in STPM or Matriculation Programme or any studies which are at the same level. Both require at least Band 2 of qualification in Malaysian University English Test (MUET), a credit in English for SPM level, and a grade of at least C in any two of the subjects for SPM except for Bahasa Melayu.

 

Regarding the application to these courses, it can be done via the UPU system at https://upu.mohe.gov.my. The applications are subject to UPU's terms and conditions and the Faculty of Languages and Communication of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin.
